to the Psychology Department Web Page. Schreiner University currently
offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major
in Psychology.
A major in Psychology can help prepare students for careers in a
variety of fields including social services (e.g. mental health
counselor, child care worker) and business (e.g. personnel, sales,
marketing, and advertising).
In
addition, this program prepares students for graduate study in a
broad number if fields including Psychology (with specialties in
clinical, counseling, industrial, social, cognitive), Education
(with specialties in counseling or administration), law, medicine,
business, and any other profession in which a knowledge of the principles
of behavior is essential.
