Generally, students who intend to major in Accounting should enroll in the following courses during the freshman and sophomore years:  MATH 1311, (or MATH 2422), BSAD 2330, ACCT 2301, ACCT 2302, ECON 2301, ECON 2302, or PHIL 2311.

The following courses comprise the 30 hours of Accounting: ACCT 3301, 3302, 3304, 3305, 3306, 4301, 4302, 4303, 4304, 4398.  In addition BSAD 3311 and 4361 are required.

The major at Schreiner consists of 121 semester hours.
