Biochemistry

Schreiner University offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Biochemistry.  Biochemistry is a multidisciplinary major. A student with B.A. degree in biochemistry will meet all the requirements for medical, dental, veterinary and pharmacy schools.
A student with a B.S. degree in biochemistry will be highly employable with a bachelors degree. Those students wishing to pursue graduate studies in biochemistry are encouraged to follow the B.S. degree plan. The biochemistry program includes courses and experiences that will give the student a wide variety of laboratory techniques that are essential for further investigations either in education or industry.
