Schreiner University offers courses
leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
degree with a major in Exercise Science. The University also offers
a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in
Sport Management.
Exercise Science
Exercise Science is the scientific study of human movement and
performance, and career opportunities range from scientific
investigation to practical applications of these concepts.
Many professional possibilities exist in the area of Exercise
Science, and more are becoming available each year. These may
include teaching Physical Education in public or private schools,
studying the physics of athletic performance in the field of
biomechanics, or becoming an exercise leader in a corporate wellness
setting.
Graduate school and physical therapy school are also options for the
Exercise Science major, as many careers require further study after
the bachelor's degree.
