Besides his love of math and teaching, Dr. Mecay also enjoys tennis, racketball and all kinds of strategy games, including attending the World Boardgaming Championships with his wife Amanda in Lancaster, PA  every summer, reading sci-fi/fantasy, and watching movies. Dr. Mecay married the love of his life Amanda in summer 2010. They enjoyed a nice 21-day honeymoon exploring the wonders of Australia and New Zealand.
