Mrs. Rockey possesses
extensive orchestral experience, including, San
Diego, the Redlands, Denver, Colorado Springs, and
Tri-city (Davenport, IA). Additionally, she has
taught private students since 1968 and currently
coaches in the Tivy, Harper, Comfort, and Medina
schools.
For three years she was a member of the unique
Women’s U.S. Air Force (Concert Band) which
travelled and performed throughout the United
States. In 1961, she was in the back-up band for
Paul Anka and the Del Mar (CA) Fair. Mrs. Rockey has
taught at SU since 2007. |
