Dr. Marrow began creating the SU Music Department when she was hired in 1995. Shortly after in 1999, Dr. Marrow became our first full-time assistant professor of music. Not only did she teach the music classes – Introduction to Music, Music History, Music Education, Non-Western Music, Sacred Music, and Music Theory – but she also organized and directed the new Schreiner Choir and the new Schreiner Symphony. Her symphony orchestra developed into The Symphony of the Hills, of which she is conductor emeritus.  Dr. Marrow has been an avid traveler.
