A brief Biography
A native of Dallas, TX, Mrs. Ferguson moved to San Antonio in the late 70’s and stepped away from teaching for awhile to become a principal in a family-owned map business. Several years later she entered the ministry as a certified Christian educator, serving at the regional level of the Presbyterian Church (USA). During this time Mrs. Ferguson served three consecutive terms on the Board of Trustees of Schreiner University, where she chaired the Church Relations Committee.
During her tenure on the Board, the
Christian Vocations Internship Program was conceived. In 1998 Mrs. Ferguson accepted a call to become the first part-time director of this program, in which she works with students who wish to pursue a church vocation.
Mrs. Ferguson is married to Warren Ferguson. They have a son and a daughter and four young grandsons.
