The Mountaineer Leadership Conference is a fun and
informative event (an overnight stay in a beautiful and
comfortable setting) where students participate in a variety
activities designed to develop lifelong leadership skills.
Held each year in January at the
Franklin Family Ranch
Retreat in Blanco, Texas, the conference activities begin at noon on
Friday when we load up the vans and end at
approximately 6:30pm on Saturday when the vans
return to campus.
Conference attendance is open to all sophomores and juniors
in good academic and judicial standing (30 students
maximum). Selected participants will help plan the next MLC
and act as facilitators. All costs of the conference are
funded by Schreiner University. Details about the upcoming
