The Department of English at Schreiner University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of English (British/World Literature). Candidates should have university teaching experience in composition and literature courses. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate an active research agenda, as well as experience advising undergraduate students. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position available August 2013. Responsible for hands-on teaching of clinical skills in Clinical Education Center (CEC) for Junior and Senior BSN students. Organizes student orientations and other student learning activities. Includes coordinating with BSN Course Coordinators for skills to be taught and incorporating medium- and high-fidelity simulation into teaching plan, for scheduled CEC days (Junior and Senior students), as well as tutoring sessions. Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies for the CEC.
