Coordinator of Multicultural Programs and Changing Global Society (Full time)                      The Coordinator of Multicultural Programs and Coordinator of the Changing Global Society will play a central role in providing our students with a transformational educational experience. In 2013 Schreiner University launched a new vision for co-curricular student learning centered on our University Mission. The purpose of this initiative is to develop, promote, and foster opportunities for global and intercultural engagement for students, faculty, and staff, encompassing both study away experiences at national or international locations as well as campus experiences.  All Schreiner students shall understand that the world they live in is fundamentally local AND global. The Coordinator will create experiences that lead Schreiner graduates to have the skills, knowledge, habits of mind, and dispositions to be successful in both these local and global environments.
This position will assist the University in conceptualizing, developing, implementing, recruiting, and assessing the Changing Global Society Initiative. The position oversees our Global Scholars Living and Learning Community, our study abroad/away programs, and will coordinator with academic program leaders on a number of multicultural programs and events. The Coordinator will provide support for students in semester abroad programs, semester away programs, and embedded programs that permit students to participate in travel programs associated with individual courses.  The Coordinator will also assist with retention efforts by serving as a freshman advisor. The Director of Communications implements the University’s brand strategy for internal and external audiences by clearly communicating the objectives, target audiences, key messages, and processes to the marketing staff and to campus clients.

Through a creative and strategic approach, the Director of Communications is responsible for guiding the execution of a variety of institutional marketing initiatives—brochures, ads, direct mail, etc.—and collaborating with the Director of New Media on website and digital communications, while supervising budgets, production timelines, analytics, and reporting. Gift Processing and Database Specialist (3/4 time)
The position is responsible for performing a variety of complex duties associated with the gift management cycle. Responsibilities include day-to-day gift recording and legally receipting charitable contributions to the University, in accordance with donor intent, University policies, and adhering to the IRS rules and regulations governing contributions and the Council for Advancement and Support for Education (CASE) gift management guidelines.
