Admission Counselor (Full-Time)
Reporting to the Director of Educational Partnerships, the Admission Counselor represents Schreiner University to prospective students, organizations, and businesses to increase visibility and engagement.  The successful online and graduate Admission Counselor exhibits high level of customer services skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with students including phone calls, email campaigns, information sessions, and social media.  The Admission Counselor creates and implements recruitment strategies to reach prospective students through events, referrals, online and print communications, and outreaches to businesses and organizations.  They must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, students, alumni, administrators and staff.  A flexible work schedule that will include days, evenings, and some weekends is required. details...


Administrative Specialist (HSI STEM Grant) (Full-Time)
 Under the direction of the HSI-STEM Project Director, the HSI-STEM Administrative Specialist is responsible for administering, coordinating, and performing the routine professional functions necessary to grant program operations and for serving as principal assistant in administrative matters; this position does related work as required. The Administrative Specialist must exercise good judgement in decision making and be willing to take initiative. The position will manage the budgets for grant and coordinate the calendar for the Director, prepare materials for meetings, assist with local and federal report submissions and assist other grant project leaders as needed. The Administrative Specialist will also maintain official minutes for all HSI-STEM Steering Committee meetings, minutes of related activities, and maintain all program records. eGaming Coach (Full-Time)
Reporting to the Director of Varsity Programs, the Coach must provide strategic leadership for the e-gaming program while supporting the wider mission and goals of the University. The Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching the eGaming Team including recruiting, fitness training, supervision and coaching at shows, and regular meetings with the eGaming Team. The Coach will advocate for the importance of an e-gaming program within the campus community, as well as the larger Kerrville community, and will serve as a role model of the high standards expected of our students. A successful candidate will have experience recruiting students, as well as cultivating friends of the various programs in an effort to meet enrollment and fundraising goals. Coordinator of Mariachi Program (Full-Time)

Student Success Coach (Part Time, Temporary)
Schreiner University’s student success coaches are a cornerstone of our student success initiatives. The Student Success Coach will be primarily responsible for supporting undergraduates’ academic success and student engagement via one to one academic and non-academic coaching, meetings, academic skills/engagement programs and workshops, and developing print and web-based materials. Coaching empowers students to achieve a sustainable shift in thinking and performance that motivates them through the discovery of their strengths, values and passions. Coaches meet with students to assist in the organization and planning of academic, personal, social, and professional commitments and to provide support for accomplishing short- and long-term goals associated with those commitments, leading to academic success. The Student Success Coach will assist the Center for Qualitative Learning (CQL) Coordinator in planning and coordinating interactive and dynamic academic support programs for all STEM students and other student cohorts (e.g. STEM LLC, transfer students, students on academic probation), facilitate their delivery, and collect data to assess and measure their success. This position includes working with diverse groups of students and staff and therefore a demonstrated commitment to diversity and student success is critical. Facilitator must be able to respond effectively to multiple and changing priorities; they collaborate with staff/faculty across campus and colleagues outside the institution to promote best practices in the academic environments. Learning Support Services Program Aide (Part Time) 
Schreiner University accepts employment applications on a continual basis for program aides. This position is an "on call/as needed" basis, with at least a 48 hour notice. Hours worked may range from a minimum of one hour to a full eight hour day based on need. Hours are not guaranteed and peak scheduling is during Finals. Program aides may be responsible for assisting with alternative testing as a monitor, reader or scribe ... details
