Graphic Design Services
We provide full-service graphic design and illustration solutions
for University events (invitation, programs, flyers), publications
(magazine, newsletter), or identity branding (logo). To start
the process, complete the University Relations job submission form
that is posted on the campus intranet.
Media Relations Services
We are the university's primary liaison to external media. We handle incoming requests for news, data, public records, faculty experts and other information. We promote the university by pitching university news stories, faculty opinion pieces and expert sources for current news.
Publications Services
UR manages all aspects of the university's major publications. We shape the image of SU by developing creative concepts, identifying key messages and target audiences and designing and producing the final publication.
Publicity Planning
We can help you target your publicity to the right audiences for maximum coverage. Please inform us of special events as soon as they are planned. When warranted, we also help plan press conferences and media availabilities.
Crisis Communications
Along with SU Police, Media Relations responds to the media and the
public when a crisis or disaster arises. Please notify the SU police
(739-1111) and Media Relations if a crisis occurs. For more

SU Logos
Proper use of official SU logos and symbols are encouraged, and we
can assist you with questions about their proper usage. We oversee
the University's graphic identity program and authorize the use of
SU marks, and must sign off on all usage. Schreiner’s Graphic &

Scene Magazine
Scene Magazine is a biannual publication sent to alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university. The magazine invites submission of letters, story ideas, articles, photos and visual art from the SU Community. For more information, call (830) 792-7405 or

The University Relations office and the University Web manager are
responsible for overseeing SU's public Web pages, writing the
official Web guidelines, administrating the online SU Calendar of
Events, approving pages and creating and maintaining the top-level
of the main SU Website. We provide Web design, usability and
