Texas Heritage Music Days
(formerly Texas Heritage Living History Day)



Co-sponsored now by the Texas Heritage Music Foundation, the annual event began as the Jimmie Rodgers Jubilee over twenty years ago.  Over 50 performers and demonstrations provide another way of learning through stories and songs. The date for the Texas Heritage Music Day is carefully chosen each year to celebrate the life of America’s Blues Yodeler and Father of Country Music: Jimmie Rodgers.

The Texas Heritage Music Foundation held the annual Texas Heritage Music Day one-day event on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Schreiner University in Kerrville [press release].
