Schreiner University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. The degree prepares
students for entry-level positions in traditional roles as
accountants in public, private, not-for- profit organizations or
governmental entities. Accountants audit businesses and other
organizations, prepare tax returns, design and operate information
systems, and assist in business and investment decisions. Graduates
are also prepared to pursue further study toward a graduate degree,
such as an MBA.
As with any professional program, the classroom component of the
Accounting degree is greatly enhanced by direct experience in the
accounting environment. Accordingly, an internship program and field
research opportunities expose students to the role of accounting in
the accomplishment of an organization’s goals and objectives. |
