Schreiner University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. Accounting graduates work in public, private, government, and not-for- profit organizations. Graduates are also prepared to pursue further study toward a graduate degree, such as an MBA. In order to qualify to take the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam in Texas students must complete a total of 150 hours and many students pursue an MBA.

The major consists of 33 hours in upper level ACCT courses: 3301, 3302, 3303, 3304, 3305, 3306, 4301, 4303, 4306, 4307, and 4398. The minor consists of the following upper level ACCT courses: 3301, 3304, 4306, and 4307.
