Visual and Graphic Arts Experience
Our spring workshops in the visual arts, conducted on the beautiful & expanding Schreiner University campus, offer a taste of diverse, personal learning experiences in various art media and disciplines.
Our "menu" plan is designed to allow the student a wide sampling of the SU art program. Each workshop is planned to your creative palette a "taste" of Schreiner's art and graphics program. In addition to our growing curriculum, the Schreiner Art Department maintains excellent technology, enabling its students to keep current with modern demands.
We want to invite you to join us and look forward to an enjoyable and stimulating time.

Traditional media continues to be the foundation for creative expression utilizing new digital technology.
PORTFOLIO REVIEW
In addition to the Taste of Schreiner, Schreiner University is offering thousands of dollars in scholarships to senior high school students participating in a portfolio review conducted by the Art faculty of Schreiner University.
To compete for these scholarships, students should register with Professor David Smith by phone (830)792-7398 and bring their portfolio and sketchbooks the day of the workshop. The portfolio review will be at the end of the workshop. Each student participating will be assigned an individual time. Portfolios will be reviewed by the art department scholarship committee who will also interview each applicant. |
