INTERESTS
Dr. Holloway's major field of interest is analytical biochemistry. He has used capillary electrophoresis to study protein digests and nucleic acids, and worked on the first models of Hewlett Packard's (Now Agilent Technologies') instrument.

He is an experienced chromatographer and has worked in the area of peptide identification tools and C-terminal protein sequencing. He has also worked on medical analytical instrumentation, specifically measurements of blood analytes. He has published a number of articles on medical and analytical chemistry and is the author of nine US patents.

INTERESTS
Dr. Miller’s major field of interest is interface chemistry. Previously he has used protein display technologies to investigate the therapeutic capabilities of electrically conductive polymers. He is currently investigating the interface between biological molecules and gas hydrates.

He has a multidisciplinary background in analytical surface chemistry, material science and molecular biology. He comes to Schreiner from industry, where he worked as a product developer for Colgate-Palmolive (Oral Care).
