University offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in
Business. The degree prepares students for a broad-range of
essential business careers in retail, hotels, restaurants,
manufacturing, banking, insurance, government, not-for-profit, and
other services firms. Business professionals generally perform
management, marketing, and finance skills for trainee or entry-level
positions. Graduates are also prepared to pursue further study
toward a graduate degree, such as an MBA.
The BA Business major consists of the following upper level BSAD
courses: 3310, 3320, 3331, 3340, 3350, 3360, 4321, 4331 or 4342,
4351, 6 hours of upper level BSAD electives, and 4398 or 4399. A
minor in Business consists of the following upper level BSAD
courses: 3310, 3320, 3331, 3360 and 4351.
