Mr. Kahl possesses
extensive performing experience having sung with
opera companies in Arizona, Chautauqua, Connecticut,
El Paso, Portland, Fort Worth, and San Antonio and
several professional choirs such as El Paso Pro-Musica
and the Phoenix Bach Choir. In addition, he has
directed choirs in Phoenix and San Antonio.
After marrying his lovely wife, Joy, he started his
teaching career at Mesa Community College in Mesa,
AZ. In 2003, after several years teaching at Palo
Alto Community College in San Antonio, he began
teaching at SU. “I love working with the students
and helping them to create beautiful music.” Mr.
Kahl is also the Assistant Choir Director at First
United Methodist Church in Kerrville. |
