The Human
Performance Lab at Schreiner University was completed in the
summer of 2004 and began its service the following fall by
providing lab space for both classes and research.
The lab
contains a Cosmed PFT Ergo metabolic cart with wireless
12-lead EKG, a Monark 'Peak' Wingate testing bike ergometer,
3 Biopac MP35 EMG collections systems, strength and
conditioning equipment such as a medicine ball trampoline
and plyometric jump boxes, and a variety of diagnostic
equipment including skinfold calipers, blood pressure
monitoring equipment, and heart rate monitors.
The 24-seat
classroom includes 6 Dell computers linked wirelessly to the
Schreiner network. |
