With 47 years of global business experience, including President and CEO Smallworldwide plc (SWLDY), Mr. Ferguson joined the faculty following retirement as President and CEO of General Electric Network Solutions. In addition to teaching he is the Schreiner Business Accelerator Manager (providing leadership services to growing businesses), the co-chair of the Schreiner Business Advisory Council, and is currently serving on the joint Kerrville/Kerr County Economic Development Incentive Committee. In 2005 Mr. Ferguson completed serving nine years on the Board of Trustees of Schreiner University (four years as Chairman). He has presented over 100 papers and articles on new or emerging technologies and has chaired four major conferences.
