Welcome to the
mathematics program at Schreiner University. Schreiner is known for
its high academic standards, for its student-centered learning
environment (each student is known by faculty and treated as an
individual), and for the success its students have here and after
they leave. Small classes and individual attention are benchmarks of the program
at Schreiner. Students interested in mathematics may complete a
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree to prepare for
graduate school or industry.
Students may also combine math with other areas, such as computers,
sciences or business. Teacher certification is an option in grades
Early Childhood through 4, 4-8, or 8-12. Dual-field teacher
certification is also available for secondary education — half the
courses are then in mathematics and half are in a second field such
as biology, English, exercise science or history.
