Student Achievement Showcase

Schreiner students do amazing things. The Student Achievement Showcase provides an opportunity to learn more about and celebrate these accomplishments. Students have the opportunity to share original research, scholarship and creative accomplishments, internship experiences,  study abroad adventures, and other projects on which they are working. Presentation formats include: poster sessions, panel presentations, artistic performances, and roundtable discussions.

WHO CAN APPLY:  Any Schreiner University student who wants to present original scholarly work that they conducted at Schreiner.

HOW TO APPLY:  Proposals can be submitted anytime between March 08 - March 31, 2017. Submit your proposal by completing the online Abstract Submission Form

PRESENTATION FORMATS: Prepare your project for an interdisciplinary audience, using one of the available formats:

  • Poster presentation: Prepare a poster that explains your completed project.
  • Panel presentation: Prepare a  8-10 min. oral presentation of your completed project.
  • Performance: works well for music, theater, poetry, etc.
  • Roundtable discussion: Specifically for work-in-progress projects (i.e., you are seeking fresh input, advice on next steps, feedback and reviews). Prepare a 6 - 8 min overview of your project.

EVENT DATE:  The Student Achievement Showcase is an all-day event on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Cailloux Campus Activity Center.

WHO IS INVITED:  The entire campus community, as well as friends of the University and local community members.  The Attendee Registration Form can be submitted online  from March 10 - April 07, 2017.
