A brief Biography
A native of Iowa, Mrs. Miller moved to Comfort, Texas, in 1965 and
worked as a Cartographic Supervisor at the H. M. Gousha Mapping Co.
until they closed in 1996. Mrs. Miller completed the Certified
Office Procedures Program offered at Schreiner College and upon
completion in 1997 was hired as the Administrative Assistant for the
Continuing Education Program. In 1998 she began working with the
Graduate Studies Program and in 2000 her duties included Teacher
Education.
Mrs. Miller is the certification officer for Schreiner University
and is also responsible for approving Teacher Education students for
testing through the State Board of Educator Certification. She
enjoys working with the Education students and helping them through
the process of becoming certified.
Mrs. Miller has a daughter who is a Licensed Veterinary Technician
working at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. She also has 3
Beagles and 1 Belgian Malinois to occupy her free time.
