Why Schreiner?  I choose Schreiner because it is close to home -- that is really important because I’m a small-town girl. I really like the community and closeness with students and professors here. I felt at home from the very beginning.

Involvement: Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Accounting Club, Inter-Greek Council-Scholarship Chair, Junior Class President.
Why Schreiner? I first chose Schreiner for the Varsity Tennis Team; sadly, I no longer play. My heart fell in love with Schreiner and the beautiful hill country.

Why Schreiner?  The reason that I chose Schreiner is because of its small family-like atmosphere and the ability that you have to excel in leadership on campus. Schreiner is a great school where the motto “everyone knows your name” comes into effect. Here at Schreiner you are not considered a number like some of the bigger schools -- you are considered a name.

Why Schreiner?  Schreiner University is small like my high school. Also, I have family in Kerrville that can help me anytime. I love to see the deer at night and early in the morning.

Why Schreiner?  I chose Schreiner because it is a small environment. I feel that you can learn better when there is a one-on-one type of learning available. I also heard that Schreiner had a great academic program.

Why Schreiner?  After returning from a not so glorious freshman year in 2000, I knew Schreiner could offer the kind of education that I would be proud to achieve, so I came back to school.

Why Schreiner?  I chose Schreiner because of the small classes and the one-on-one interaction. I also enjoy being able to walk across campus and know everyone by their first name.

Why Schreiner?  I loved the small class size and localized campus. The people here at Schreiner are so open and friendly, I felt welcome. Plus, I love all of the outdoor activities—particularly ultimate Frisbee.

Why Schreiner? Along with being small and close to home, the school seemed like a very quality-over-quantity type of education. Being a major nerd I love that the teachers think about the total worth and value of what they teach their students instead of how much.

Why Schreiner? I chose Schreiner because of its beautiful campus and continual mantra of striving for more and learning by heart. I have chosen to stay here and continue my undergraduate study because of the sincere hospitality shown by the people here and the amazingly diverse amount of organizations, lecture series, book clubs, and activities that culturally, academically, spiritually, and socially enrich and challenge me on a daily basis. I love it here!!!

Also, the beauty of Kerrville played a big role in choosing the university I would attend. I got recruited to play on the Women’s Soccer team, which is the main reason why I came to this university.
