The Schreiner Collections
Do you have a box of old pictures from your Schreiner days packed away in storage? Or maybe you have an old uniform hanging in the back of your closet?
Schreiner’s William Logan Library is seeking items to be donated to the Schreiner Collection, our special collection chronicling the history of Schreiner. It is through alumni contributions that we are able to appreciate the larger, more detailed story of life at Schreiner. When you donate to the Schreiner Collection, we will organize your donation and place the items in archival quality containers, insuring that it can be examined by many generations to come.
WHAT WE NEED: papers, pictures, uniforms and other memorabilia that you may have stashed away somewhere. Some examples of these possible donations include dance cards, graduation programs, game ticket stubs, snapshots, photograph negatives, scrapbooks, diplomas, etc. We are also looking for some specific years of school publications, such as Mountaineer newspapers (1932-1949, 1974-1992), and the Parade literary magazine (1942-1954, 1959-1970).
WHAT WE DO NOT NEED: Recall yearbooks, Schreiner Bulletins, and Schreiner Catalogs.
If you have any questions or would like to talk to someone about your donation, please contact Kay Long, Special Collections Librarian, at (830) 792-7320 or firstname.lastname@example.org
