10:00 AM – 7:00 PM  Register and pick up your RECALL 2014 packets and name badges at the Cailloux Campus Activity Center (CCAC).

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM  Tour of  Hill Country Wineries. Spend the afternoon visiting area wineries with a Dutch treat lunch along the way.  Must RSVP by Friday, March 28th. Schreiner University staff will be your tour guide(s). Meet your tour guide in the CCAC lobby.  

1:15 PM – 6:30 PM  Annual Randy Shepler (SI ’54) Alumni Golf Tournament, River Hill Country Club: Scramble Format. Individual Green Fee - $125. Recent grads of SU (2008–13) green fee - $75.  Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Prizes for first four places, longest drive and closest to the pin. (Proceeds go to the SFSA Endowed HCCF Scholarship Fund.)  

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Schreiner Mansion Tours.  Visit Captain Charles Schreiner’s -- founder of Schreiner University -- original home in downtown Kerrville.  The building was donated to Schreiner University in 2009. This year we are featuring Graces Received: Painted and Metal Ex-Votos from Mexico and Italy. Visit  for more information.

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Bill Thompson (’SI-51) and Sam “Bubba” May ('SI-52) Welcome Reception welcoming Schreiner Alums back to Schreiner including all current and former athletes, staff/faculty, scholars, and former students. CCAC, 2nd floor, Ballroom #2

9:00 PM, Alumni Reunite at the YO. All ages of alums and former students gather in the Lobby or in the Elm Waterhole Saloon at the Y.O. Ranch Resort Hotel.  

9:30 PM, Bonfire and Barn Dance at the Robbins-Lewis Pavilion: For students and alumni. Sponsored By Student Activities Board, The Ancient and Honorable Order of the Campus, and Schreiner Former Students Association.

7:30 AM –1:00 PM Registration and pickup of Recall weekend packets continues in the Lobby of Cailloux Campus Activity Center.  

8:00 AM  2014 Schreiner University RECALL Tradition and Kids’ Run/Walk. Come reminisce and tell the tales of Schreiner’s longstanding campus loop.  Submit your most memorable moments about running or walking Schreiner’s infamous campus loop.  There will be a Tradition Run/Walk  and a Kids’ Obstacle Course:  featuring Monty, Schreiner University’s mascot.  For registration details, please submit online form or contact Drew Dobbins, Director of the Mountaineer Fitness Center and Campus Recreation: or 830-792-7412. Starting line:  Mountaineer Fitness Center parking lot. 

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Military Tribute Breakfast and Golden Grad Pinning Ceremony:  In celebration of classes 1964 and earlier years. Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center, Ballroom 2. 

11:30 AM –1:00 PM Family Picnic.  It is always a great time for relaxing, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones while enjoying good food. Join us in The Commons area outside the Cailloux Campus Activity Center.

11:45 AM  5K Awards will be announced.

12:15 PM -- Charlie Hueber, Dean of Students, crowning of Recall Student King and Queen.

12:30 PM Recognition of 1989 Silver Grads. Graduates of that year will be recognized during Family Picnic in The Commons.

1:00 PM Decade Photos and Anniversary Class Photos.  Photos will be taken immediately following the picnic in The Commons.

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM Annual Business Meeting of Schreiner Former Students Association. CCAC 1st Floor River Room Conference Room.

2:00 PM  Reunion with Schreiner Institute’s Military Sponsors and Officers.  Location for this event is on the first floor of the Cailloux Campus Activity Center in the Schreiner Recliner, which is right off the lobby area. 

2:00 PM -- 3:00 PM Opening up Hoon Hall , A.C. Schreiner, Dickey Hall & Delaney

2:00 PM Shooting with the Schreiner Shooting Sports Society
Four Rounds in 4 disciplines includes 100 targets, shells, guns, glasses, skeet, trap, international skeet and trap.....more info & registration online

2:30 PM -- Children’s Activities beginning at Robbins-Lewis.

6:00 PM Tribute to Schreiner Legends Banquet.  Schreiner University will honor our new Athletic Hall of Honor inductees:  Walter Schulle ’55 and Tom Thornhill ’57; and Distinguished Alumnus Dr. William Campbell ’40 and Win Thurber ’63. Location: Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center.

9:00 PM - 11:00 PM Comedy and Chocolate. Enjoy delicious chocolate treats and hilarious comedy at SAB’s 5th annual Comedy and Chocolate event. Sponsored by Schreiner University’s Student Activities Board (SAB). Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center, 1st Floor, Lions Den.

10:00 AM  Ecumenical Worship Service.  Organized by Schreiner’s Campus Ministry, with participation by current and former students. Restored Union Church on the edge of the campus.

11:00 AM  Farewell Brunch.  Newly renovated Gus Schreiner Dining Hall. Your chance to say goodbye to old friends and to the new ones you'll make at Recall 2014!  Dutch treat.
