High School Counselor VisitCounselor Preview
December 2, 2016
Join us for this annual tradition where we invite high school counselors from around the state for a fun day on campus. Meet with faculty, enjoy an amazing lunch, participate in student demonstrations and see what Schreiner University can offer you and your students. Plus get a day out of the office!
If you have a group of 10 or more students, in 9th grade or older, who are looking for a great educational opportunity, bring them to Schreiner for a day! Your Admission Counselor can arrange a campus tour lead by Schreiner Ambassadors, and will also provide a short presentation to discuss college planning and the admission and scholarship process.
Students in your group have the option of bringing their own lunch or purchasing lunch in the Dining Hall. Your Admission Counselor will work with you to arrange the ideal schedule.
The Office of Admission and Financial Aid welcomes group visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. We ask that you register at least two weeks before your visit to give us ample time to prepare for you. To schedule a group tour, please complete our short Visit Request Form.
There are a few things that we would like you to keep in mind when scheduling your group visit:
- Access may be limited during particular times of year due to our academic calendar.
- Plan enough time for traveling to campus; being punctual will ensure that your group fully enjoys the visit.
- The Admission presentation can be customized to fit your groups needs. Please let your Admission Counselor know how we can help you.
- Due to space and staffing limitations, we typically cannot work with groups larger than 50 students.
