The program enables students to
explore ethics through lectures from visiting professionals who
have experienced business dilemmas.
Many believe ethics is simply a moral standard for judging right
from wrong. Conversely, if moral standards vary among
individuals and societies, then how do business students judge
right from wrong?
The Edward Patton Business Ethics Lecture Series augments
students’ studies of business ethics with focused lectures on
recognizing unethical business activities, responsibilities and
obligations when confronted with business dilemmas, approaches
to ethical decision making, social responsibilities versus
individual rights, and the ethicism movement in businesses.
