In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for this academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan simply contact Student Housing at 830.792.7280.
Plan Options
- Platinum with $50.00 Munch Money
This meal plan is based on the traditional "all you can eat" with a twist. Students may come into the dining room anytime we are open. If you want to stop in for a soda at 11:00am and come back for lunch at 12:30pm you can do that. With this plan you have $50.00 in Munch Money for use in the snack bar. This feature allows students to venture to the grill for a gourmet meal cooked fresh for them while they wait.
- Gold Plan with $50.00 Munch Money
This meal plan allows a student to come in the traditional 15 meals per week along with $50.00 Munch Money, and we have added the amenities package listed below.
- Silver Plan with $50.00 Munch Money
11 meals per week and $50.00 in Munch Money is for the student that has a busy schedule and is often gone on the weekends. This plan is economical and has the meal plan amenity package.
Meal Plan Amenity Package
The Platinum, Gold and Silver meal plans include the following amenity package.
- $50.00 in Munch Money for use in the snack bar.
- Four gourmet night meal plan ( four meals per semester)
- 80 Flex Meal(No added Munch Money )
This may be the option for you, with 80 meals a Semester.. Can be used in Lion's Den.(When Dinning Hall is Closed )
- Flex Plan with $50.00 Munch Money
The Flex plan provides a student with 180 meals and $50.00 per semester that can be used in a number of ways along with all the above amenities. Students can eat what meals they choose and even bring a guest. Students may also use a Flex Meal in exchange for a meal at the Lion's Den between and after traditional dining hours. This plan provides the ultimate flexibility for the busy student.
Meal Cards
In order to use the meal plan that you have selected you use your Schriener Student ID card. You must always have your ID with you to be able to use your meal plan. If you do not have your ID you may purchase a meal at regular price.
Lost or stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Visit Campus Security to purchase a replacement ID.
Dining Policies and Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
Welcome Guests
You are also welcome to bring guests to the dining hall. The following are prices for non-students:
Breakfast - $5.00 |

Dietary Needs?
Do you have particular dietary needs? No problem! Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact Susan McCracken at 830.896.2347 or come on in to the dining services office.
Seconds Policy
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Seconds do not include To-Go Boxes.
