Favorite type of music:  I like it all, except rap, but especially, oldies, country, and jazz.

Favorite vacation spot: Florence, Italy; New Mexico; camping in the mountains.

Favorite book:  The Bible; mysteries of all sorts.

Who/what/where INSPIRES you & why? My inspiration has come first and foremost from my faith in God. Then my Dad, who has been gone for 20 years, but still spurs me on; and my children who are the most wonderful young adults I know.

What's on your night-stand right now?: The Bible; Anne Rice's new book "Jesus Christ as Lord" and big numbered clock radio so I can read it without my glasses.

Hobbies/interests/extra-curricular activities OUTSIDE SU: Who has time???? Actually, I love to read, garden, camp out under the stars in West Texas, hike, and watch the greatest team on earth---The Texas Longhorns!  I enjoy doing things with my husband, watching basketball games, and watching my daughter dance.

Activities/interests/associations ON CAMPUS: As the Director of Teacher Education, I am on a mission to help students become successful teachers. I am interested in the ATPE (teaching organization), yoga classes, fun technology to use in my classes, and bringing my Yorkshire Terrier to campus to chase the deer.

Favorite class to teach @ SU & why:  All of them!

Why do you like Schreiner? I LOVE Schreiner. The close family atmosphere, the hill country views, the great faculty and staff, and most of all, my WONDERFUL administrative assistant, LaVonne Miller (pictured to right).
