How long have you been with SU?
Since 2001
|

|
|
favorite movie: "High Noon" with Gary Cooper and
Grace Kelly
favorite food: My grandmother’s Ragł alla
Bolognese. It is a sauce; ingredients: ground
beef, tomato paste, onion, milk, black pepper,
and red wine, which everyone would amore’ on any
pasta.
favorite type of music: Texas Country;
specifically, artists like Billy Joe Shaver,
Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, and many others.
Also, I enjoy music by Gene Autry, Tex Ritter,
Waylon Jennings, Hank Thompson, Jim Reeves, and
Kris Kristofferson.
favorite vacation spot: Fort Davis, Texas -
“where the stars come out and play”
who/what/where INSPIRES you & why?
My faith, family, and friends inspire
me. The driving forces of my inspiration
are challenged by the
essence of life and a zillion other unknowns.
what's on your night-stand right now?:
"Vespa Technica 5"
by Leadi Frisingheli Noatari. After completing
my doctoral studies, Carrie, my wife, bought me
a Vespa motor scooter, which included volume 5
in a series of hard bound books describing the
journey of the Vespa PX. Vespa is an Italian
legend that is synonymous with fun and freedom.
I guarantee you, it's hard to ride a Vespa and not
smile.
hobbies/interests/extra-curricular activities
OUTSIDE SU: My interest in sports is minimal
compared to most. However, I truly enjoy both
playing and watching the game of tennis. I was
introduced to the “Sport of a Lifetime” in
college and I have continuously played the game.
In fact, I routinely play a minimum of two times
a week.
I am a life member of the United States Tennis
Association and I have even officiated at a few
junior tournaments, but physical fitness is my
motivation for playing. Physical fitness seems
to positively impact my attitude, mental
alertness and emotional stability, which is why
I always look forward to the next workout.
activities/interests/associations ON CAMPUS:
Ethics Team Coordinator, Faculty Affairs
Committee, Mountaineer Leadership Committee,
Business Advisory Board, Business Department
Chair.
favorite class to teach @ SU & why:
Principles
of Accounting and Entrepreneurship are my
favorites; both courses translate into
skill-sets that most employers value.
