Current Students: Merit Based Scholarships

Merit aid is based on the student's academic record. At Schreiner University, we look at the students GPA (either high school GPA for incoming freshmen and college GPA for transfers), test scores, and class rank.

Schreiner offers performance based funds, merit aid and need based aid. In this way, we insure that every student has the capability of receiving some form of “free money” to help pay for their education.

Finally, we have an Outside Scholarship Program where our Financial Aid office actively works with students who are interested in  applying for outside scholarships. . You can "friend" us on Facebook and receive the same notifications as our current students , or you can watch for email alerts.

All Scholarships and Grants are listed and explained on the FAQs page.

Each student must verify their account balance and make arrangements for any amounts not covered by financial aid.
