Chapter Holds Summer 2006 Meeting

Some of the
leaders of the Dallas area former students attended a superb
Summer 2006 Meeting at The Tower Club, atop the Thanksgiving
Tower, overlooking downtown Dallas. SFSA President Donna
Riojas Gay ‘74 and some of her Houston friends, fully hosted
the evening. The meeting consisted of a cocktail hour at
5:30, then a seated dinner—and even the ‘crashing’ (by
invitation) of a nearby ‘dance’ party down the hall. Most of
the 26 attendees had adjourned by 11 P.M. Great fun and
fellowship was enjoyed by all. |

The evening
included introductions of all the attendees, led by SFSA
President Donna Riojas Gay ‘74. Donna reported briefly on
current happenings within the Association and on the
University’s campus — including an exciting report on the
largest enrollment ever, anticipated for this fall.
In

husband, Ryan; Trey Gourley ‘99, SFSA Board Member, and
wife, Sarah; Mimi Probst ‘05; Chris Mahr ‘97; Tim
Kirkpatrick ‘96; Lori Ott Fogarty ‘94 and husband, Chris
‘93; James St. Romain ‘89; Suzi Gee Schneider ‘74, Secretary
of the SFSA Board, and husband, Vic, and the Schneider’s two
Lion’s Club Exchange Students, Benedikt Torka (Germany) and
Adrian Tingulstad (Norway); Bobby Douglass ‘67 and wife,
Janie; Bob Brubaker ‘65 with guest, Dana Hyatt; Bill Webb
‘55 with guest, Lucinda Rather; Oliver Wood ‘39 and Allen
