heavily on individual generosity
because we are an independent,
church-affiliated university,
not supported by tax dollars.
Hundreds of individuals,
families and businesses believe
in and support the Fund’s
mission. Many HCCF-supported
Schreiner graduates stay in the
Hill Country to raise families
and serve their community.
- HCCF
served 290 Hill Country students
last year with more than
$727,000 in scholarship support.
- Residents of Bandera, Edwards,
Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble
and Real counties are eligible.
- Awards are based on need.
- Last year scholarship
assistance averaged more than
$3,377 per recipient.
- HCCF often makes the
difference between going to
college, or not.
- More than $10 million in
assistance has been given to
Hill Country students since
1977.
