“Nationwide’s support
of the Hill Country College Fund has
helped countless local students achieve
their dreams of a college education. We
are so appreciative of the active role
they have taken in the campaign. Not
only have they made a very generous gift
to the fund drive, but Robin Miears,
associate agent and office manager, has
also graciously donated her time as a
Hill Country College Fund volunteer,”
said Jennifer Farhoudi, associate
director of development for annual
giving at Schreiner University. “We
greatly appreciate their support.”
Since the Hill Country College Fund
began in 1977, it has provided more than
$8.5 million in need-based tuition
assistance to students from Kimble,
Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall, Bandera, Real,
and Edwards counties and helps more than
300 Hill Country Students annually. Hill
Country College Fund grants provide an
average of over $2,100 a year per
recipient and one hundred percent of
funds raised goes to student
scholarships. If you would like more
