“The Rotary Club’s
donation to the Weaks Martin Rotary
Scholarship Endowment honors long-time
Rotary member Weaks Martin,” said
Jennnifer Farhoudi, the associate
director of development for annual
giving at Schreiner University. “Their
gift ensures that local students will
have the funds needed to attend college,
pursue their educational goals, and make
a positive impact on our community.”
Since the Hill Country College Fund
began in 1977, it has provided more than
$8.5 million in need-based tuition
assistance to students from Kimble,
Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall, Bandera, Real,
and Edwards counties and helps more than
300 Hill Country Students annually. Hill
Country College Fund grants provide an
average of more than $2,100 a year per
recipient and one hundred percent of
funds raised goes to student
scholarships. If you would like more
