How is a hybrid online program better
than a 100% online program?
Because Schreiner University's Online
Graduate Program
uses a hybrid approach, you will have both
the benefit of face to face sessions with
your professor and fellow classmates and the
convenience of weekly online instruction and
completion of assignments. You will meet
once a month on campus during the regular
semester and approximately once a week
during the summer semester. This will allow
for personal assistance and instruction and
the opportunity to collaborate with other
students in discussion, projects, and
presentations.
How soon can I get started?
Right Away! Go to the
How to Apply page to download an
application online and send to
lmiller@schreiner.edu! You may enter the
program in fall, spring, or summer semester.
What are the requirements?
For all degree plans, you will need to:
1) Send us an application and 3 references (download
here).
2) Send all college/university
transcripts to: Schreiner University
Graduate Department in Education, 2100
Memorial Drive, Kerrville ,Texas 78028
3) Set up an interview with Dr. Cramer
at
nvcramer@schreiner.edu. Interview may be
in person or by phone if you are not
available to meet on campus. It is that
easy!

Do I Have to take the GRE?
The GRE requirement for 2010-2011 enrollment
will be waived if applicants have a
cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0
scale!
What if I do not have a 3.0 GPA or I do
not do well on the GRE?
If you have a 3.0 GPA or higher, your
application can be processed immediately. If
your GPA is lower than a 3.0, please set up
an interview with the director of graduate
studies,
Dr.
Neva Cramer. We will discuss your
situation and do everything we can to help
you attain your academic and career goals in
education. You may be eligible to enter our
program provisionally, on the basis of
maintaining a 3.0 GPA in your master's
program. You can do it!
How will I prepare and turn in
assignments online?
Assignments will be emailed to your
professor, and you will create an online
portfolio to display your work throughout
the semester. Instructions will be provided
and tech assistance is available.
