The
2006 commencement ceremony on May 6 will be
Schreiner University’s 23rd baccalaureate graduation
since conferring its first 4-year degrees in 1984.
One hundred and eleven students will receive
bachelor’s degrees and 16 will receive master’s
degrees in education.

The Rev.
Buckner Fanning will serve as Baccalaureate speaker for
a worship service at 10:30am. Rev.
Fanning served as
pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio for 42
years. In 1951, he founded
the Buckner Fanning Evangelistic Foundation, where his
ministry is now fully based. He is a recipient of
The Tree of Life award from the Jewish National fund,
Clergyman of the Year, Family of the Year and many
others.

would like to join our graduates for lunch to celebrate this joyous occasion, lunch tickets are available for purchase in
advance in the Office of Advancement (830) 792-7201.
Price for reserved tickets: Adults $9 and Children $5
(ages 10 & under). Tickets may be picked up at the
“will call” tent located between the Cafeteria and the CCAC
between 10:30am and 12:30pm on May 6th. Non-reserved
tickets purchased on the day of graduation will cost $10 for
adults and $6 for children (ages 10 & under). Darlene
Bannister will provide faculty members with lunch tickets at
3:00pm on Friday, April 28th in Moody, Room 106, prior to
Faculty Friday. |

allowed in on a space available basis.
