I have technically been in London for three weeks now, but it seems a lot shorter than that! I've seen a million old buildings and thousand dead people since my last entry.
I went to the National Gallery here and, thanks to my knowledge of aesthetics from my fabulous education at Schreiner, I had an aesthetic experience. The paintings there we fabulous!
We took a trip to Cambridge last weekend, and it was a really small town with a lot of history. I ate in the pub where the guys who discovered DNA hung out!
Last week we had a fire in the house! One of the bathroom fans did not switch off, and the fire alarm went off and the brigade came and everything. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I put out the fire myself (TOOT TOOT). It really wasn't very big to begin with, but I would like to think I saved the entire city of London, perhaps the world!
Next week I am traveling to Bournemouth, Mary and Percy Shelley's hometown, to spend a week at the coast for excusion week. I will update you on how fabulous my trip was when I get back.
