Journal #8

Posted 11-5-03:

well i hope all of you are doing half as good as i am doing...because then i believe that you would all be doing great! this week has been great! no, nothing has happened, i am just loving my classes and am having a wonderful time here.

this weekend i am going to try to go to cordoba again. the weather has been a lot nicer so i believe my trip will be a blast.

here are a few more pictures of valencia and one picture taken in sagunto.

the first picture is a picture of the l´oceanografic, which is best described as sea world without the rides.the buildings there were amazing. this picture was taken in the entrance of the park.

the second picture is inside part of the l´oceanografic. they had a few of these underground aquariums that as you can see go over one´s head.

it is a weird feeling to be walking under water but not getting wet, and it is even a stranger feeling to be walking under water and have a shark literally swim over your head.

the third is of three different buildings.
the one to the right is the museum of sciences.
it was pretty cool and that is a lot to say when i can´t stand science...

the building in front of you (the closest one to you) is the hemisferic, which is a huge imax theater,
the last building is the museum of beautiful arts which has not not been opened yet but i think it is going to be awesome. the building is huge.

the fourth is another picture of the cathedral.
the last one i sent was not very clear so i think this one is better. the fifth one was taken in sagunto, a small town outside of valencia. this is a picture of what is left of their medievel castle. it is now a national monument. the castle is huge.

I am standing on one end of the castle and taking a picture of the other end of the castle (note that i have zoomed in).

well i am sorry that the explanations are short, but i am running short on time.

hope everyone is well
parker
