Schreiner University Theatre Department Presents, “Women Beyond Words” March 6

In honor of Women's History Month, the Schreiner University Theatre Department will present, “WOMEN BEYOND WORDS”, Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m.

The Reader's Theatre Production will be presented in the Hanszen Fine Arts building on the Schreiner campus. The show is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.

Dr. Claudia Sullivan and Dr. Kathleen HudsonDr. Claudia Sullivan and Dr. Kathleen Hudson, both professors at Schreiner, will represent the Schreiner faculty in this presentation that includes readings from poetry, literature, and journals of famous and not-so-famous women from American history.

In 1981, the U.S. Congress passed a resolution establishing National Women's History Week. The week was chosen to coincide with International Women's Day, March 8. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a month.
