Playwright/Musician Andy Wilkinson Premiering Show at Schreiner University on Jan. 10 - This event has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts - watch for new date

Well-known artist Andy Wilkinson will debut his latest work Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Alice Hanszen Fine Arts Building on the Schreiner campus.
“Women of the West” is a one-woman show written by Wilkinson featuring a performance by Trudy Fair. It is free and open to the public.
Wilkinson is an artist in residence at Texas Tech University, where he teaches songwriting. He has written a show on the life of Charlie Goodnight and many wonderful songs. He was the winner of the new folk songwriter’s contest at the 1985 Kerrville Folk Festival. The National Cowboy Hall of Fame awarded him the “Wrangler” award for outstanding original music. He was also the recipient of the 1997 John Ben Shepperd Jr. Craftmanship Award from the Texas Historical Foundation.
