Schreiner University to Host Writers Conference April 12-13
The Texas Writers Conference is being held on the Schreiner University campus April 12-13.
The conference will kick off on Wednesday, April 12 with featured guest Andy Wilkinson an artist, songwriter and teacher on the faculty at Texas Tech University (www.andywilkinson.net). He will present a workshop titled, "Mapping the Creative Process: Strategies for Getting Unstuck" from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center Ballroom. There will also be a reading by Wilkinson and open mike from 7 p.m.—9 p.m. in the ballroom.
Thursday, April 13 at 2:40 p.m. poet Rosemary Nissen-Wade will read her poetry in the Scarle-Philips Room in William Logan Library on the Schreiner campus. Nissen-Wade is an award-winning poet from Australia.
All events are free and open to the public.
