Schreiner University Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta Inducts Five New Members
KERRVILLE, Texas--The Schreiner University Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta inducted five new members in a ceremony on campus Thursday. The 2006 inductees are Charlotte Ritter, Kristen Van Slycke, Dana Whitmire, Lauren Zimmermann and instructor of English Sally Hannay.

Sigma Tau Delta’s purpose is to confer distinction upon students of the English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies; to promote interest in literature and the English language on local campuses and their surrounding communities; and to foster the discipline of English in all of its aspects, including creative and critical writing. With more than 600 active chapters, Sigma Tau Delta is one of the largest members of the Association of College Honor Societies.
