Schreiner University Presents Chautauqua Lecture Series Aug. 28

Schreiner University professor of exercise science Dr. Tom Wells will present the first Chautauqua Lecture Series of the fall semester Monday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.

His lecture titled, “Back on the Plantation: Major League Baseball’s New Farm System” will be held in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center Theatre.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Robert P. Hallman Chautauqua Lecture Series brings together members of the Hill Country community and the scholars working, writing, and publishing at Schreiner University. The topics are varied, engaging, and intended to stimulate academic discourse and dialogue. Hallman was a longtime English professor at Schreiner.
