International Study program
“Last Call” Lunch on Sept. 7
Schreiner
University’s
International Study program will hold a
“last call” informational lunch about the
upcoming trip to Italy at noon on Thursday, Sept. 7, in the William Logan Library
Scarle-Philips room on the Schreiner campus.
Schreiner
faculty member, Dr. Lydia Kualapai will be
leading an Aesthetic Experience class to Italy
Dec. 26, 2006-Jan. 7, 2007.
The trip is
open to all students and community members.
There are a
few spots still available to participate in this
once-in-a-lifetime experience, but the
deadline for registering is Sept. 18.
The Aesthetic
Experience class traveling to Italy is an
interdisciplinary course focusing on the nature
and appreciation of beauty through the study of
principles of digital photography and
photographic design.
Participants
in the trip are not required to enroll in
Schreiner’s aesthetics course.
The cost for
travelers 22 and under is $2,447, and for
travelers 23 and over $2,810. The price of the
trip does not include tuition for the aesthetics
class.
The cost
includes round trip airfare, 10 overnight stays,
breakfast and dinner daily, bilingual tour
director, seven sightseeing tours, and 10 visits
to special attractions.
Stops on the
trip include Rome (including Vatican, Forum,
and Colosseum), Tuscany, Florence, Venice (on
New Year’s Eve), Assisi, Pompeii, Spoleto,
Sorrento (on the Bay of Naples) and the Isle of
Capri.

charge to attend the informational luncheon, but
