Virginia “Gini” Norris-Lane to be Installed as
Schreiner University Campus Minister Jan. 22
by
Amy Armstrong,
Assistant Director of University Relations

The Rev. Virginia “Gini” Norris-Lane will be installed as
Schreiner University’s Campus Minister Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. The
installation will take place in the Floyd & Kathleen Cailloux
Campus Activity Center Ballroom on the Schreiner campus. A
reception will follow.
“Just as a wedding ceremony asks God's blessing to be upon a
marriage, so, too, does a Service of Installation ask for God's
blessing to be upon the ministry of the campus minister and the
community as a whole,” said Rev. Norris-Lane.
“I am so grateful that I will be able to see how the seeds of
God's Spirit that are planted this year will grow in the lives
of the students, faculty and staff in the years to come.”
Rev. Norris-Lane holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Austin
Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas, and a
Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in Waco,
Texas.
She has served Northwood Presbyterian Church in San Antonio,
Texas, as Associate Pastor; Conyers Presbyterian Church in
Conyers, Georgia, as Associate Pastor; as the Coordinator for
the Pastoral Leadership Search Effort with The Fund for
Theological Education in Atlanta, Georgia; and as Ministry
Associate at Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church in San Antonio,
Texas. She is married to Wes Lane, a producer and technology
