Thanks to the
generosity of an anonymous benefactor Schreiner
University’s
William Logan Library
is now displaying a signed Rembrandt etching
titled, “Peter and John at the Gate of the
Temple.”
The etching,
valued at more than $8,000, will be on loan to
Schreiner for about six months.
“I want the
students of Schreiner as well as community
members to be able to see this work of art,
study it and learn something from it,” the donor
stated.
