“Kerr County Abstract & Title
Company is a company that
believes strongly in the
importance of education,” said
Jennifer Farhoudi, associate
director of development for
annual giving at Schreiner
University. “Not only have they
given a very generous gift that
enables local students to attend
Schreiner and pursue their dream
of a college education, but
owner Diane Green also gives her
time to our students as this
year’s campaign chairwoman. They
have done so much for Hill
Country College Fund and our
students and we are very
appreciative.”
Since the Hill Country College
Fund began in 1977, it has
provided more than $8 million in
need-based tuition assistance to
students from Kimble, Kerr,
Gillespie, Kendall, Bandera,
Real, and Edwards counties and
helps more than 250 Hill Country
students annually. Hill Country
College Fund grants provide an
average of over $2,900 a year
per recipient and one hundred
percent of funds raised goes
directly to student
scholarships.
